I've already had to deal with some unpleasant business this morning... twice.
I really need to learn to keep my mouth shut and just move on quietly, but that's just not me - yet.

The past couple of days have been hard for me, because I've made plans and they haven't actually come to fruition today, so it's left me feeling slightly frustrated and a little angsty about the entire deal, because I was relying on this ONE activity to roll me back to life and help me do what I need in order to continue down my road to self enlightenment.
Still, despite my set-back, I'm going to carry on as though everything is peachy, and when I wake tomorrow, my new routine will be put back into action.
I fully understood that I would be taking three steps forwards and two back for a while, but when the backward steps actually happen, they affecting me a whole bunch more than I ever imagined they would...
Now, old me probably would just shrug and sit for days in a funk, but new me knows that isn't an option if I want to improve myself and my situation.
Here's hoping that I really DO wake up tomorrow with some extra pep in my step, and rather than this just being talk, I manage to plod along.
I've been thinking today about how lovely compliments are.
I don't mean those generic "Nice Ass!" compliments, although it's nice to get told you have a good butt!
I mean, when you've worked really really hard at getting something better, and you yourself see an improvement, it's nice to have some sort of outside reinforcement that you're making headway.
Today, I am going to give everyone a compliment when they talk to me, until I run out of spoons. I am going to make sure it is genuine and deserved. I am going to attempt to spread a little positivity, and hope that I can make someone smile and who knows, maybe make their day a little brighter. I think in the process of this, I might also have a greater appreciation for those people in my life.
SL is a little busy for me right now, what with commitments I have made to friends, Consent stuffs and attempting to help the Santi with his new exciting project, so I don't have a whole bunch of things to say, except go to Whimberly! I can't believe I've never found this little gem of a place before, but it was abso-stinkin'-lutely adorable!
I have to admit I was kind of mad when lady-on-the-horse popped in and stood in the background forever and ever, but actually, she made a rather stunning little focal point, so I'm not mad anymore at all! Sometimes, it's just little details like that which make all the difference, and actually end up enhancing something, regardless of your initial idea for a picture.

When she spotted these adorable bodysuits by Dead Dollz, She immediately said to me "Pickle! We NEEEEED to do a blog with these!" Of course I agreed, not just because the bodysuits really ARE adorable, but also because of the sound of sheer excitement in Juniper's voice!
I can't remember why we decided to go to half-deer. Possibly because I'm a bossy-boots and once again took over the whole concept of the shoot. Initially, I just wanted us to cosy up on the couch looking cute af, but then as the placement of the props began, there was a whole backstory that turned up in my head. Picture the scene :
You and your bestie are having a sleepover. Naturally, you've got all your pets around you, and no matter whether they're chicks and kitties or otherwise, they naturally all get along perfectly, why? Because it's your imagination and it's perfect there, that's why!
You've prepared for this for a while, so all your favourite things are readily available to you. Who doesn't love macaroons and candy and cups of juice and and ALL THE THINGS?
I think at some point the film on the TV might have become a little tiresome for Juni, because she's pulled her phone out (although I do know she likes to keep her facebook open on her phone, so maybe she's just checking out a cute guy's photo, or responding to yet another penis picture (I'm kidding, don't send her those), when an action packed moment occurs on screen, and her glance is knocked away from the cell phone and she focuses entirely on the magical on-screen thingy-ma-bob.
You can tell from my expression that it's a cliff-hanger moment, I look like I'm ready to either cover my eyes or my mouth depending on the result.
However you chose to see the scene we set up, you can be absolutely assured that we were screaming "OH MY GOD WE'RE SO CUTE" a bunch, and generally having a riotous time!
