I can't stop with these amazeballs Enchantment items!! I CAN'T! Hold me back! No don't.. I need to show you all the things!
On top of that, there's more luscious poses from Go&See.. keep scrolling, Spoonies!
xoxo
Go&See Divine poses 1-5.
I've chosen to wear the .miss chelsea. Saga Body @ Belle Event for these shots, so you can see the pretty positioning of the legs!
Go&See Divine Poses 6-10.
Did ya know there's a Valentine's Photography Contest for Go&See? Well there is! For all the information on that (and the chance to win 10,000 Ls!) visit Kristyna's Flickr >Here<
Did you say more Lord of the Rings? Well, okay then!
I wanted to actually attempt a male elf today, mostly because I miss Man-Pickle (even if it is tuesday!), and also because this gorgeous outfit from Hotdog was just too stunning to pass up - although it does come in a female version!
I wanted to push the boundaries a little, and try popping some typically female hair onto Man-Pickle's noggin. I think I may have pulled it off, because in my opinion, he still looks like a dude.
That all said, go get your LOTR on, because I cannot love this theme enough!
xoxo
All of the things :
Body, Hands & Feet : [SIGNATURE] Gianni - Mesh Body
Bow : .~DN~. Golden Huntress Bow (This is actually really good fun and I had a whale of a time throwing a friend across my sim for lols.) @ The Secret Affair
So, I kinda created this scene in a super huge, overdone way. What you can't see is the swamp in the background, and the fact that Pickle is actually on a ledge, and the horses are way below on a ravine. I guess I need to work a little more on getting my background into the whole scene I'm creating, but there's worse things to realize!
Let's talk about Enchantment, yeah?
It's only bloody Lord of the Rings themed! I'll be honest, I had actively avoided watching this series of movies or reading the books. I think back in the day the 'cool kids' were into the Hobbit, and then of course the Lord of the Rings, and so it's just been something I avoided out of habit, and not disinterest - kinda like Star Wars (don't kill me, I'm aware I'm blaspheming all over.)
Still, when I found out that this round was going to be LOTR themed, I HAD to watch, and I freakin' loved it. All of it. Every single bit. I mean, I can't tell you the name of the characters because that stuff goes in one ear and out the other, but I'd definitely watch it all again, and would even consider reading the books (gasp!).
With that said, can you guess who I'm channeling, albeit in female form (with slightly longer ears)?
It's of course Legolas the Elf who likes his bow and arrow (and yes, I had to google his name)!
Now, I dunno how close I actually am to pulling it off, but that was my take on the whole thing, and I had HOURS of fun with this (literally, hours. My poor homestead is in tatters because I got excited and over decorated like a boss), but let's get to the credits, k?
Today I'm showcasing some more items from Enchantment. It might seem a little bizarre to be a nudey-pants while depicting an event aimed at fairytales, but the Grimm fairytales were never aimed at children and were in fact converted over time to appeal to kids.
Anywho, the idea behind the picture is to try and show how I feel a lot of the time as an adult. The clock represents the ticking of time, as I become older, I'm reminded that our time here is short. I don't mean that in a morbid way at all, but rather that we often spend our time focusing on the wrong things, worrying about how others are living their lives and not concentrating on doing the best for us. It's supposed represent a bit of a dream-like state, the position Pickle is in (which is almost a fetal position) signifies the fact that often, I really don't feel like I'm adulting to a respectable level. Most days, it's actually hard to even drag myself out of bed, and so I tend to celebrate the fact I managed to do just that by patting myself on the back and neglecting other things I just know I -should- do.
Of course, there's the undertones of storybooks and fairytales, most of which I will make grabby hands at to cling to because although my body is constantly in flux and the wrinkles are getting deeper, my mind is still fixed in my twenties or even below, with some minor adjustments and understandings I wish I'd had back then.
Once more, I'm not entirely sure this description makes any sense. I just know that there are times we need to just stop and attempt to make things work, our way.
I think that's what we all try to do daily. Be kind to each other, please. There really isn't enough love showcased in the world, and if you can't see it - be it. ♥
Background Wolfie (on an alt) : (HYBRIDERA) - The Lunar (This is legit SO OLD it's still prims! Not sure if it's been updated, but for the sake of this picture, it worked perfectly.)
Obviously, Pickle is Little Red, running from the Big Bad Wolf hiding in the distance. Naturally, the other woodland creatures (including goats, because there has to be a woodland somewhere with them, ok?) are running like feck too! No one wants to become dinner for Wolfie!

HUZZAH! It's time for another round of Enchantment!
The event opens today at midday SLT and the theme of this round is "Brothers Grimm", which is practically open season for anything ever mentioned in one of their freaky stories! You can find more information on all things Enchantment at their website >Here< , including designers, maps and shopping guides.
I had to start with this cute little goat outfit. Anyone who follows me on facebook might be aware of the immense level of squeals I achieve whenever a goat is posted on my timeline. I am also a bit of a crazy goat lady, and will definitely share those adorable videos of little goats in onesies, or dressed up for seasonal thangs. I just can't get enough of the adorable furry babies, and want to hug them all up. Needless to say it seemed absolutely appropriate that I become an Enchanted Goat, happily playing my flute and wiggling my goat-y tail to the sound of my (probably rather rubbish but hopefully) pretty tuneage.
I've paired the outfit with a delicious skin from Lumae, and as usual, you can see some of the options available with this gorgeous skin below, all taken in calWL windlight on firestorm.
xoxo
Showing above, Lumae Fantasy Nylissa skin, in the version1 eyebrow. Left to right - No brow, white brow, grey brow, black brow.
It's worth mentioning that although I've shown this skin on Catwa Lona, it's also available for Genus, Lelutka, LAQ & GAEG heads.
This is the version2 eyebrow. Left to right - No brow, white brow, grey brow, black brow.
I've used the 'freckled' version of the skin to show off this eyebrow, although both v1 & v2 eyebrows come with the freckled options, so you can mix and match to your own preferences.
Vines : Eden Outfit *WHITE* by Caverna Obscura (Note : I'm using a Slink Physique version of this item, and it does clip slightly, as shown above. Please DEMO before you purchase!)
I adore these froggies from Culprit at Enchantment this round. The large toad Pickle sits on is a rare mount version - there are four of those colours to collect, and the smaller frogs are common companions, with several varieties to grab!
I'm absolutely loving the items for Enchanted this round!
This set-up took me a while, which annoys me a little bit considering it's kinda basic. For whatever reason, I just couldn't find a pose that fitted what was going on in my brain... however, I feel like the adorable froggies make up for my choice!
Moss&Mink are celebrating 1000 in-world group members, and as a special limited time giftie for those group members, Cielo has made the delightfully charming tiara with balloons attached. It's able to be worn, or rezzed and will float gently up and down, making you feel like a true Princess!
Enchantment is still going strong, and the talented creators are continuing to astound me with the ways they bring to life the story of the Frog Prince.
Today I'm featuring some beautiful hair (with crown included) from Love, an absolutely gorgeous tattoo from Ivory & Rose, and of course the stunning bento rings rigged for Maitreya, Belleza and Slink from Elle Boutique.
I've paired these up with the halter from Narcisse that is available at August's Vanity Event, check the pics below to see how pretty it is from the back, too!
I'm so stinkin' excited to be a new member of the Enchantment blogger team!
Today marks the opening of the new round, and it's themed (can we make an educated guess?) The Frog Prince! You can find all the fabulous details of the designers, organizers and bloggers involved in this epic masterpiece on this website >Here<
I was trying to remind myself of the story, but on my search of wikipedia, I quickly discovered that there are several variations, and I'm not entirely sure which one I would equate to the 'original' that I heard. The general outline of the story remains the same, Princess finds frog, Frog eventually turns into Prince and they live happily ever after.
However, there seems to be a few details that are always changing. In some versions, the Princess is kind. In others, she is a bit of a spoiled brat. Personally, I would prefer to go with the kind version.
Still, whatever Frog Prince story you're familiar with, this event is sure to be an absolute gem. I fully encourage you to visit the immersive shopping experience, and also to try out the hunt that runs along side it, again, details can be found on the website.
