When Muggleborn popped out these antenna I got super excited, and immediately started contemplating how I could get to be a Picklefied Alien. I'm not sure I entirely pulled it off, but I did have a good time trying! It also meant that I could grab a Lumae skin, which I have been entirely neglecting (sorry!), because the textures to match the majority of the Lumae collection are included with the antenna. Also included are the textures you need to tint and match whatever skin you're wearing yourself so yay!

This week has been a bit weird for me. I feel a bit like I'm stuck in limbo again, barely moving forward. The only good part of that is that things are steady... and maybe I'm just unused to that.

I've still been watching a bunch of mental health stuff on Youtube, but for entertainment I have been revisiting Gossip Girl on Netflix... why? Because of Chuck Bass and my oddly inappropriate girl-crush on the bad-boy that might turn good. Still, when Potato's away, I need a lil eye candy (don't hate me babe!)

Every time I think I may do something daft, and restrain myself... I notice people doing the same thing I stopped myself from doing BECAUSE I AM TRYING TO GROW.

I think I've been watching too many Jeffree Star Youtube videos, and I may be somewhat channeling my inner Alien, but holy fudge!

Ok I'm over it.

I know I'm potentially shady. I know I've done some seriously effed up things in the past. I know I keep doing things that make people question me... and that's life. For the first time in a really, really long time, I'm mostly at peace with who I am, and have a clear view of the person I want to become in the future. I'm not perfect. I'm not trying to BE perfect, but I am trying to be better - which is all I hope for everyone, every day.

I'm at a point now where I can reflect, and be like... "Hey, this person is not good for where I'm going, or wasn't good for who I was then, but they deserve to be happy, healthy and live their life their way." Will I always hold resentment towards those people who I feel have wronged me? I don't honestly know, because I'm still learning how to forgive... but one thing I will not do (anymore!) is deny that someone once important in my life had an impact on me.

Neither will I deny the memories I had with that person, unless I feel like for whatever reason, they used me as a stepping stone, or as confirmation of their amazing deeds that really only suit their personal agenda.

ANYWAY.

This is such a sub blog, and I'm cringing while typing it, but let's face it, it could be 98% of SL. 

It could be my ex best friend or lover, or someone I spoke to twice over a FB chat.

It could also be anyone YOU know, because people, regardless of where you met them, can be dumb as fuck and petty as shit!

So that's my vague drama rant!

I have a bunch of things for you today! I'm still procrastinating from yesterday, so it's completely amazing that I've even gotten to this point, but there's legitimately so much information below, I don't want to waffle for too long so here goes!

Today I'm wearing the Juliet Skin, specifically for the Genus head from Lumae.

Above are tones one through four, and below are tones five through eight.

I chose to show the freckled versions for the tone comparison, they're all equally as beautiful. I did notice that tone 7 and tone 8 do not have the ginger eyebrow option, so I switched it up to the red, which is just as lovely!

Above you'll find a little look at the eyebrow options. I've used tone 4, the same tone as is in my photograph, and I have used the unfreckled option to show them off. 

I'm absolutely in love with the  lips, they're so pouty and delicious!

Ok, so... I guess I STILL need to work on this presentation for eyelashes. >.> 

However, Go&See have provided these lush Mink Lashes for SaNaRae especially for the Genus Head.

Shown in all the pictures are the stunning Lunar Eyes by Lotus at The Arcade, I'm wearing number 2 and number 17, which are similar in colour but different enough to create a bit of a facial focal point, I think!

HUZZAH! It's time for another round of Enchantment!

The event opens today at midday SLT and the theme of this round is "Brothers Grimm", which is practically open season for anything ever mentioned in one of their freaky stories! I had to start with this cute little goat outfit. Anyone who follows me on facebook might be aware of the immense level of squeals I achieve whenever a goat is posted on my timeline. I am also a bit of a crazy goat lady, and will definitely share those adorable videos of little goats in onesies, or dressed up for seasonal thangs. I just can't get enough of the adorable furry babies, and want to hug them all up. Needless to say it seemed absolutely appropriate that I become an Enchanted Goat, happily playing my flute and wiggling my goat-y tail to the sound of my (probably rather rubbish but hopefully) pretty tuneage.

I've paired the outfit with a delicious skin from Lumae, and as usual, you can see some of the options available with this gorgeous skin below, all taken in calWL windlight on firestorm.

Cast a spell with me.

I have never been someone who felt like they needed to be friends with everyone, all the time.

As I grow older, it seems as though I might be taking that a little too seriously. I'm not friends with everyone, at all. In fact, my patience wears so thin, that often I'm not even friends with the people who think they're friends with me.

I suck at reaching out. I'm absolutely crap at small talk. I struggle to maintain surface level 'friendships' and when I feel overwhelmed, I will retreat and curl up in a ball barely speaking until I can see clearly again.

I have a habit of making ridiculous assumptions that my brain claws at and makes up reasons why they're correct rather than just letting them go, and I get frustrated, because who actually WANTS to be a loner unless they're content in their own unhappiness?

I'm awkward and say the wrong thing at the wrong time. I over-think literally everything and I remove people from my life without giving them the chance to put up a fight, and then expect them to put up a fight! I'm an absolute freakin' nightmare!

However, if you can hold on through all my negatives, through all the ridiculous rantings and unnecessary judgments and occasional irrational situations... you might just find the best friend you ever had. I am loyal. I am honest - brutally so. I'm pretty funny, I can spin a negative into a positive in the blink of an eye and I can make something out of nothing like a magician... if you need the shirt off my back - it's yours, without question and I will never intentionally ignore you unless I need to sort my own thoughts out.

Relationships are a minefield, and I strongly believe that just because you're 'bad juju' to one, you're another's perfection. It's all about fitting personalities together and listening to your gut - my gut just tends to be a tad more sensitive!

I do intend on working on acceptance, and even if I remain in the position I'm in now, I know I have the strength to understand that perceptions differ depending on personal situations.

Lumae has an absolutely STUNNING amount of options for many heads. I'm currently using Lona by Catwa, and the Catwa applier from the skin options.

I am having a very "monster" day today. A day where I woke up feeling pretty darn good, and then progressively started to internalize a bunch of insecurities until I end up blurting at some of my friends. This is a theme I had been toying with since I found the Cureless eyes at previous round of Fifty Linden Fridays. I was slightly upset to realize they aren't add-on attachments, but in fact tattoo's/makeup - but they are so beautifully drawn, I am ultimately not disappointed.

I realize that this might be a slightly unusual turn on Man-Pickle Monday, but honestly, I'm not sure how much I care today! SL is a place for expression. It's a place people come to be something they're not, or everything they are. Something they can't be, but something they feel they should be. For me, it's an outlet where I can experiment with creativity - sometimes within the perimeters of an avatar, and other times with decor and pictures.

I love that there are creators within our community that will push the boundaries of 'normal' expectations and make items for all types of people regardless of labels.

Also, can I just swoon over how much fun i'm having with the Red Light District event? If anyone has followed me from the start of my blog will be aware, I have steered quite far away from anything remotely risque, but this has pushed me and thrown me out of my comfort zone a little, making me re-think the way items are portrayed. and allowed me to get a little kinky and different - which I absolutely adore. Here's to pushing the boundaries further in the future!

I tried something a little different with this post, and went for a full-on girly Fem-boy look. It's something I've been considering doing for a little while, as I was lucky enough to meet the creator of the V-tech boy chest through a friend a while ago, and he was super sweet! Not to mention absolutely freaking adorable to look at. Pair that with the fabulous items he makes for the chest (with added 'regular' maitreya rigs, too) and the current round of RLD having another creator involved with items for the *boy* bodies (and men, and futa's and.. well, people with penises who aren't necessarily male.. ugh. Labels), I figured now was the perfect time.

I've done femboy before on my alt, but this is BY FAR my favourite look for it, so far. Finding a skin can be fairly tricky, so when I stumbled across the Lumae skin at Ostara's Altar and it included a v-tech applier, I knew now was the right time. 

I know I've said this at least two times lately, but every time I have meant it. This Lumae skin is beautiful. I don't think I appreciated it fully until I came to edit this image, because it was then that I noticed small details like the creases along the palm of the hands, the shading across the fingers by the fingernails, the tiny, teeny little cleft between the nose and the mouth, the way the eyelids are shaded so intricately and fit perfectly against the shape of my catwa head... I cannot imagine the amount of love that has gone into making this skin, and one day I hope I have the time and the spoons to be able to do a full review. When you add to that the price of the skin for the special version available at the Ostara's Altar event, this is a genuine gem. I think it was between 500/600L for the head and ALL the the appliers you can shake a stick at! This is a MUST demo!
