I am so freakin' proud of this picture. Once I found out that the theme behind this lingerie set was Burlesque, I immediately knew I wanted to do something fun and feisty, and stumbling across this pose just made me squeal with all the happy.
So today I decided I was going to just take it easy, and do a pretty basic shot without anything too fancy going on.
Then I saw all the AMAZING that has popped up lately, scrapped that idea, and now I have an absolute TON of information for you. Grab a coffee, grab a sammich, and sit your butts on your chair for all the good stuff!
Pose 1-5
Hey Go&See, I see you! There are 10 poses available from Go&See for the Love Bites hunt.
I always adore the poses from Go&See, but poses for me are kinda awkward to blog because everyone is a different shape, and depending on what body I'm using, the hands dig in where they shouldn't or some other body part is protruding through, however, whenever I DO take the risk and grab a pack, I'm absolutely never disappointed. I feel like these are perfect for pictures, and could also be used for some cutesy static AO stands too!
Pose 6-10
In the above pictures I'm wearing the AsteroidBox Ursa Lingerie & the shoes from the Miss Chelsea Lilo Outfit, not shown in the main picture above.
I decided to kill two birds with one stone here, which took a while, because I'm still not as organized as I'd like people to think! However, here we have the skin tones for the gorgeous Tanya skin from Revoul, shown on the Lelutka May head.
Also shown are ALL the tones from the Lotus Royal Eyes. (you can click on the picture to make it larger on your screen for more details). Lotus has recently changed the way they sell their mesh eyes, which are what i'm wearing in the pictures, un-rigged Mesh Eyes are now available at the Lotus Main Store, which leads me to believe that when you purchase a mesh eye applier in the future, you will need these new mesh eyes to make everything work, but you'll be able to change your eyes using the future Lotus Mesh Eye appliers available at both the mainstore, and any events. An advantage of this means you will never adjust your mesh eyes again!
There's a lil bit of information stashed inside this post today, as somehow, I managed to pick up a beautiful new skin sponsor in Revoul.
I've often admired their skins, as they are pretty darn diverse and cater to many skin shades, and their darker skins have always held a level of realism I have adored.
Today i'm showing you the Winnie skin, which is available at the mainstore. There's face options and tones shown below. The skin itself I believe is probably based on the model Winnie Harlow, who stormed into the business because of her acceptance of her skin and the condition of Vitiligo.
I truly believe we can find beauty in almost everything, if we just look hard enough, and once you start seeing the beauty it becomes more apparent everywhere.
xoxo
Here's an example of the Revoul Winnie skin face options.
Yeeees, the second face from the left is the wrong tone, totes my fault... I'd done so many pictures that I just didn't want to redo the whole thing, but you can still see the difference in the vitiligo patterns across the face.
There are eight options available for this skin, and each comes with a special matching body tone included. All the tones come with the four face options shown above. Along with the skin having a Genus applier, there's also an Omega option, I didn't get the chance to try the skin on any other brand, and I fully suggest trying a demo before purchase as sometimes the shading can be slightly off.
As soon as I saw this tattoo by Dappa, I knew what I had to do... get totally naked and smear myself in honey, of course!
I love how this came out. I know it's only January, but the joy of SL is that it can be spring whenever you like, and so that's what I'm celebrating in this picture - doing whatever the fudge I want! I'm also only slightly snickering over the fact there's an actual honeypot covering my, uh, honeypot!
-commences belly holding guffaws-.
It's now 7am and for whatever reason I'm still wide awake and utterly avoiding going to the corner shop because I'm out of butter, the same way I have been avoiding it for the last two days. Do you even know how many food things need butter to make them work? I was like "Oh, just have a potato, Pickle." and then I remember it's rubbish if there's not a lick of butter on yer jacket tattie!
Anywho, fingers crossed I'll be able to brave the outside today without a house falling on me and loosing my favourite pair of ruby red slippers (I think I might be slightly sleep deprived again), and I'll return with Clover and NikNaks of the Rib and Spicy variety. I'm also hungry.
In the UK we call the day after Christmas "Boxing Day". I don't know why. Maybe it's because we have so many lovely new presents we spend the day smothered in boxes? Perhaps it's because we all secretly want to punch our beloved family in the face? WHO KNOWS! Let's ask google.
-wanders off-
Ok. So. Apparently I was terribly wrong, and it was either a 'Christmas Bonus' for servants who had worked Christmas day, or the distribution of 'Poor boxes' from churches. You can find a bunch more detail in this article > here <. Personally, I still kinda like the idea of a dramatic family feud based somewhere in the past when boys still wore newspaper flat hats and men were mostly found donned in suits and ties.
Whatever you're celebrating today, I hope this finds you happy and healthy, with a renewed love of your chosen tribe.
I green screened this in a bit of a basic manner, but yay for different things!
I know! two posts in one day? What's going on!
Please don't get used to this. I'm just well rested and currently in advance of my projects, which is awesomeeee and another sign that I'm heading in the right direction!
Today I want to give an absolutely massive shout out to Narcisse. There's no doubt that there has been a massive leap forwards in quality in a fairly short span of time; I find the designs to be inspired yet original, and the textures always blow me away due to the use of materials (Materials are what makes the fabric look kinda shiny, and the shine will move with your camera angle, depending on your windlight. On the dress above, you can also see that certain points of the fabric look raised, and that too is down to the materials.).
Narcisse is in my opinion a brand to watch and I'm super excited to be able to showcase her fabulous products along her journey.

Photo taken at my practically unfurnished home (I R LAZY)
I've been asleep most of the day today because HI! I'm Pickle, and my sleeping schedule is back to being absolutely shite! For that reason, have the details without a load of waffle from me!
xoxo
I decided to add another picture of the Go&See Skin here, it's entirely unedited except for the background, taken in CAIWL windlight and I'm wearing the TAN version of the skin. All tones are available in the powder pack! I'm wearing hair from Tableau Vivant, and a Hairbase from Just Magnetized.
This picture was inspired 100% by the absolutely adorable Culprit FuzzyWuzzy!!
Culprit currently has a storewide sale going on, so for a while you can grab this gorgeously fuzzy, cuddly kitty for 50L.. along with some equally as amazing items. The sale is in order to provide the Culprit creators with a brand new roof for their house, and in light of the recent forays into go-fund-me's and other awkward fundraisers, in my opinion this is beneficial for everyone. Low-cost, quality SL items which will equate to real life help. Shop your little hearts out, grab some unique Holiday gifts and have a blast in the process. Lovely jubbly!
Kinda sleepy today. Had an appointment at stupid O'clock in the morning so ofc, my anxiety being the beautiful monster it is, decided that there'd be no sleep the night before. When I did finally lie down, the next door neighbours decided it'd be a lovely time to start hammering and sawing directly outside my house, so yanno, thanks for that! I reckon I've had maybe 2 hrs sleep so I might be slightly bonkers!
I spent a long time on this photo, and I've been attempting to take a little longer with the original pictures rather than the editing. I'll never be a super photography expert, but I do enjoy having a bit of a faff with the photoshop things! If you haven't already noticed, I've added a new page to the blog, being resource tutorials that I've found helpful. Mostly it's photography, there's also a few speed edit channels and a channel dedicated to caring for your blog. I'm no genius when it comes to blog layout - I like something simple that I can understand without too much clutter - but starting my blog I used this channel to help with header set up etc.
Anywho, you came for credits, and here they are... because right after that I'm gonna go and attempt to sleep again so I can regain an ounce of normalcy!
