I have tons of things for you today, but before I start, I wanted to address something potentially a little sensitive.
I've been seeing a lot of "My favourite bloggers are..." on facebook lately, and as someone who is NEVER mentioned on these things, it can be a little disheartening. So, for a moment today I went into a bit of a "Fuck, why do I bother?" mode, but luckily, only for a moment.
You see, it suddenly dawned on me again that although I LOVE the opportunity blogging gives to me, I don't actually do it for other people. I do it because -I- love it. I do it because I've been able to watch myself grow and evolve over the three year period I've been doing it.
Like most people, though, I do have the terrible habit of comparing myself to others. I'm not the greatest, most talented photographer out there, but I have watched as I improve, and I always attempt to show the products off in a light that is flattering and real, and along with the content I provide in my blog, I'm actually incredibly proud of what I've achieved.
The other thing that suddenly dawned on me was that although I've had nobody on facebook shouting my name from the rooftops, I've had incredibly artistic friends of mine compliment me lately, and although I know that they're my friends and part of their job is to blow smoke up my ass occasionally, I am actually starting to believe their praise, that is pretty effin' cool!
The moral of my rant is, regardless of your position in terms of appreciation for what you do.. do it. Whether you're someone who can fart and be congratulated for your work, or whether you're someone who rarely gets noticed, if you're enjoying it for heavens sake, continue to do it! Don't be scared of new things, and continue on with what you love, because you really can't please everyone all the time.

It's worth a quick reminder here that shape ALWAYS plays a big part in how a skin looks, and that includes with your body. I'm sure it's obvious that there are shading differences on the stomachs here, however, if your skinny body was actually skinny, the skinny applier would look skinnier. Get it? The same goes for the chubby and pregnant versions too.
Personally, I find these incredibly realistic, and I'm absolutely floored that Revoul can offer such different body types done to such a fabulous standard.

Let's talk for a minute about proportions, because I struggle SO hard with the way my hand looks here - maybe it's because I really like having a big ol' SL bootay, but my hand looks teeny tiny in comparison and that annoys me!
I swear I even made my hands bigger for this, but any more and it just seemed too much. I know t-rex arms are one of my personal pet peeves, but so are baby hands. I mean you want to be able to wipe your butt effectively, right?
The inspiration for this post is obviously a bit of a tongue-in-cheek robbery type dealio with Pickle showing another type of cheek before she steals away with some of those money packets and gold bars. Well this took a minute to work out. Apparently Blogger doesn't want me uploading any pictures, which is a right royal pain in the butt. Luckily for you, I don't give up and finally found a way to embed my picture from flickr - if for any reason you can't see it, or it poofs, please let me know as there are some truly gorgeous things in the above photo!
On lighter note, I want to say I'm definitely feeling a little better again right now. Hopefully the worst is over and I'll be back to normal again shortly, posting daily and not having to concern myself with uploading my photo's via flickr *waves a fist at the sky*.
I'm absolutely loving this lingerie and nipple piercing set by Miss Chelsea, which is going to be available at ROMP as of May 12th. It's a lil cheeky, but as usual, the level of detail is just astounding, and I got SO many compliments about how it looked, it's most certainly worth a purchase.
You can find the skybox/loft at 6 Republic by Tableau Vivant. The background isn't part of it, I edited the Trompe Loeil Margaux surround to fit it, but I think it works pretty well! It's actually a fairly large space, with a smaller upstairs area and I'm sure I haven't done it nearly enough justice. The windows just filled my heart with happy, though, and I truly believe it would make a stunning home.
Bad Unicorn are absolutely killing their decor sets lately. I've been making grabby hands at a lot of their items, but for some reason I struggle with fitting it in to posts. I guess there's worse things to practice tho! This set is called "Messy Monday" and you can pick it up at this round of TMD. There's literally a MILLION (ok slight exaggeration) textures for the bed covers!
CandyDoll as usual have pushed the boat out with these gorgeous shoes, which just topped the entire outfit off for me. The padlocks and chains (along with a hanging logo that I hid) are removable via hud. As usual, they come in an array of colour options, and these are available at the Kinky Event's current round.
I don't know anything about Basketball, except that you throw a ball in a hoop.
