Fantasy Gacha Carnival opened up yesterday and I am super excited to bring you this gorgeous set from deviousMind. It's fauny, so naturally it was gonna be immediate Pickle-Love!

Last time a friend went to look, they couldn't find the editorial versions of the Argrace hairstyles in world, and they appear to be removed from marketplace too - I can't stop using them though because they're truly beautiful. I don't know where this murderous rampage idea came from, I swear I'm in a pretty good head space at the moment, and I don't feel like I need to be a violent lil shite... but when I saw how elegant and flow-y this gorgeous Narcisse dress is, I automatically saw this entire set up in my head.
I rather think of Pickle as the angel of death. Kinda beautiful and kinda scary, she'll hunt you down and tear you apart with her bare hands, without getting a drop of your blood on her dress.

Yesterday marked the end of the Halloween month, and here I am casting spells the day after.. and why? Well, quite simply, I'm wanting all those evil spirits to disperse, maybe I need some sage...

It took me a little while to actually get this shot, and that's okay, because I ran around SL like a complete lunatic trying to figure out what it was I wanted.. then I found this futuristic police-type car thing and my butt sat there and I was content.
I have been doing a bit of running around SL lately, and it's actually been surprisingly pleasant.
Rather than sitting on my platform, or standing statuesque at a filthy sim where no one actually talks to anyone else but peacocks their avatars around as though they're King of the world, I've been exploring. October is the perfect time to do this, because people get all creative thanks to the onset of Halloween. (In a detour from your currently scheduled programming, the word "Onsent" apparently means "The beginning of something, especially something unpleasant", so I left it there because Halloween is fun, but ultimately kinda spooky and therefore almost unpleasant. Pls just love me today. My head is up my backside.)
ANYWHO. Ultimately what I'm trying to say is, get your butt off your platforms, step away from the sex sims and away from your platforms, and do some exploring!
Maybe one day I'll update that Locations page to include all these fantastic places i'm finding, but I AM incredibly lazy, so we'll have to see. :P

So we all know Pickle can be a bit of a derp sometimes, and today is no exception. I forgot to whack my graphics up for these pictures, so they've all been taken on medium graphics, on CAIWL windlight... but I'm sure you can agree, despite my massive oopsie the skin shows beautifully.
You can't tell from this picture, but I have included a little gif below just for a hint at how awesome it is. There's some amazing bento animations included, so when the music plays (and it really does play!) the hands of your avatar will move across the keys, and your fingers will wiggle too! It's so stinkin' cute!
I've only shown one style of the piano, but there are several different themes, which enable you to match it with practically every room conceivable to create in SL!
Here's the little gif. I'm still working out how to create video's in SL, so this is as much as I can do. The best thing to do would be to try a demo of the piano yourself. It truly is a dream!

My whole little mental health journey is taking some interesting turns.
It's become apparent to me that there are far more negative energies in me that I was aware of. I mean, I know I'm not perfect - show me someone who is, but recently I have really begun to notice some disturbing patterns. It's not malicious, but sometimes I am hurting so much because of some ridiculous ideals I have in my head, I end up purposefully causing pain to someone else. Misery loves company, right?
Let me explain a little more.
I am not delusional enough to think that I am always right, but part of me is delusional enough to think that I am always right. That means there's a constant struggle in me, the knowing deep down that 1. I cannot control other people and their reactions to my actions and/or words, and 2. sometimes, I'm the toxic one.
Naturally, that fills me with absolute fear, because I don't WANT to be toxic, ever.
Ultimately, now I have recognized these disturbing bad habits, my goal is to change the way I approach those situations. I'm pretty old now, so undoing that amount of "oops no" is gonna be pretty tough, but it's baby steps! As with everything I am discovering about myself and the world around me, I am going to be taking three steps forwards.. before freewheeling two steps back and then starting again.
I'm grateful for those who see the good in me, regardless of my ew, and have been reminded regularly of the quote;
I've spent most of today faffing about like a complete lunatic, doing lots of nothing, so much so that I actually made plans for tomorrow. Shock horror!
Once again I'm left without much to say, other than I sincerely hope you see Pickle as flying, because she's far too strong to fall!
It's almost September, and most of you will be aware that when September comes, so does The Arcade.
When I saw these cute little offerings for The Arcade by Hextraordinary drop in Blogotex, my brain immediately started whirring, after all who doesn't want to have a Khaleesi moment and become the Mother of Dragons??
The dragons come in three versions, Shoulder pet, Companion and Rezzable, all of which have adorable animations. There are also three lamps to pick up, the wall lamp, a table lamp and a stand-alone lamp. All of these are shown in the picture above, and let me assure you the detail is astounding.
The skin I'm wearing today is by Go&See at Blush. There are several tones, and four head applier versions available, Lelutka (shown above), Genus, Catwa & Omega. I'm using the Cola tone, and below you can see how this looks on the different heads.
Picture the scene.. you've been on a vacation with your significant other. They've popped out because you're much better at packing than they are, and wouldn't it be a shame to mess up the entire holiday with an argument as to where to put the dirty socks in your suitcase? So, to Maccy D's they've gone to take advantage of some free wifi and the ability to dip their fries in their milkshake without you staring at them like they're a monster (You're a monster if you do this, js).
Now concierge has called and told you that your courtesy hour is over, you yank all your luggage out into the sweltering heat of your tropical holiday destination, and there's absolutely no sign of your partner and...

I'm wearing the Miss Chelsea outfit that is new at Uber today. I actually really, really love this. I feel classy and summery and pretty! I'm always a fan of high-waist items, even in RL. I think they're usually incredibly flattering, regardless of your shape, and being more pear-shaped I adore the hourglass effect. They're SO feminine! I paired them with these cute shoes from Empire, and they actually come in two versions in the pack - flat and high. I chose to wear the high simply because of the length of the pants. On my face, I have some cute eyeshadow/eyeliner from Veechi. I've included a close up below the credits, so that you can see how absolutely adorable and amazingly detailed the makeup actually is!
