I'm kind of struggling to think coherently today, it's like I woke up with my head up my butt!
I even took a nap, but I woke up feeling like my head was even further lodged up there!
Anywho, as you may have noticed, I'm featuring more lovely Dappa things. I really loveeeee the colour tattoo's that are being produced at the moment and this one can be found at Limit8. There are two available at the event, and this one show is the limited edition version. I think the event opened a couple of days ago, so hopefully there's still a few copies to grab, but I haven't had the opportunity to check yet.
Once again, I'm not entirely sure I have the whole Asian thing down. However, being that it is SL and a creative platform, and that I AM completely ignorant to Asian culture, I hope you'll excuse me for being what is possibly a mish-mash of Japanese/Chinese and er, maybe even something else.
I've been spending a little more time taking the original, un-photoshopped pictures lately, and I hope that's noticeable. I'm also thoroughly enjoying learning all the LumiPro things, but at 8k it's a pretty high price to pay for what i'm currently capable of doing, which is basically just projectors. However, with that investment, you do get access to the youtube tutorials, so I'm definitely in need of watching some more of these in the not too distant future.

I am having a very "monster" day today. A day where I woke up feeling pretty darn good, and then progressively started to internalize a bunch of insecurities until I end up blurting at some of my friends. Luckily, I have the BEST friends in the history of friends, and they soon turned my frown upside down.
For that reason, have some credits without some waffle! My poor Pickled brain cannot function beyond the very basics haha. Have a wonderful Friday!
I'm not entirely sure why, I just feel like I woke up with a case of The Moodies, and they've been impossible to shift.
How do I combat The Moodies? Well, firstly I take pretty pink and girly pictures featuring three of my favourite SL brands, Moss&Mink (The skybox, which you really need to see in world, because I've only shown a teeny tiny portion!), CandyDoll with the dress and boots (can you say adorbs?) and Essences for the lush skin that adorns my bootilicious body.
Secondly, I make changes.
Today this meant cleaning out my SL friends list. I like to keep my list around 100 people - that includes my alts (of which there are plenty, *cough*), my friends alts, and the occasional new person who pops their head in and has potential to become a friend too.
Just because I remove people from said list, doesn't mean I won't be friendly. I'm picky, and weird, and not for everybody.
Once again, I'll clear up that I LOVE taking pictures and having this blog. I LOVE the friends I have, and the good people I meet in SL, but it is becoming noticeably obvious to me that the friends I have are scattering (and rightly so) because of RL, and meeting new people without an agenda is either becoming more difficult because of the quality of people in SL, or because my mind has been so skewed by prior interactions, I just automatically place a negative on every new person I meet, and honestly, I'm not sure which is scarier.
Despite my mood, I know that this will pass. I know I'm adjusting.
Tomorrow is another day and I'm hoping that I wake up grinning, and ready to tackle everything with positivity again.
There is so much brain activity going on in my head right now I'm kind of struggling to function.
This is amplified by the fact I've managed to completely screw up my sleep schedule! I'm mad at myself, but I know this is just me taking a step backwards before starting off onto my whole "New Pickle" regime again.
I've been joking lately that I'm going through an entire mid-life crisis. I feel like maybe I'm a little bit young to actually have a mid-life crisis, but then I remember that I'm only 19 in my head, and maybe it's completely appropriate to feel like a post-pubescent teenager again, 19 years later. (shh. I'm old ok?)
Ideally, I would use this time to buy a brand new car (preferably something fancy - and red. A Porche convertible, because it is Summer here, after all.) and then I remember I can't drive, so that goes out of the window. I'd also like a toy-boy... but only in theory. I've figured out that toy-boys are lovely to look at, but I don't game, don't like anime, and get tired of innuendos fairly quickly, so I reckon I'll just stick with single-dom until the crisis subsides!

I'm well happy with this outfit! I started with the Kimono and dolls, and everything else just kind of... accidentally fell into place. I think it's the best when that happens!
I don't have anything smart or interesting or cryptic to write about today, but it's wednesday - and apparently that equates to Hump Day, so I hope you're all enjoying yourselves, humping away or making moves to rid yourself of the hump haha.
I've spoken very briefly about the Red Light District event currently going on, the new round opened on the 15th of June and once again they've bought a plethora of wonderful creators together to offer some amazing quality items all at the event.

Let's talk for a minute about proportions, because I struggle SO hard with the way my hand looks here - maybe it's because I really like having a big ol' SL bootay, but my hand looks teeny tiny in comparison and that annoys me!
I swear I even made my hands bigger for this, but any more and it just seemed too much. I know t-rex arms are one of my personal pet peeves, but so are baby hands. I mean you want to be able to wipe your butt effectively, right?
The inspiration for this post is obviously a bit of a tongue-in-cheek robbery type dealio with Pickle showing another type of cheek before she steals away with some of those money packets and gold bars. As I had feared, that awful tummy-thing I had a few weeks back has reared it's ugly head again, which may make my blogging slightly erratic for a while. Fingers crossed it passes quickly, because I really do hate being unable to be creative and vent here!
Meanwhile, the weather in England is definitely becoming hotter, and what better way to celebrate than to take a picture of Pickle's butt-cleavage while showing off some amazing creations furniture by Moss&Mink for the Arcade? Everyone wave at Durex again! I'm thoroughly enjoying him right now! I wanted to push myself a little today, so we're featuring a couple of skins from Go&See. I find it kind of cute when couples in SL match, but also sort of don't so I'm hoping I'm pulling that off with this photo.
One thing that means a lot to me in a picture is emotion, and another is telling a story.
The story or the emotion can differ entirely depending on perspective, but whenever I take a picture, those are the things that are important. Things like eye-contact, touch, body-language are big players in this to me, maybe because of my RL situation right now I'm kind of missing some of these things, but I like to at least attempt to portray these in SL.
It's kind of odd to me, because when you develop a relationship with someone in Secondlife, you're not really seeing any of these things from the offset. You have to express these things with your words... which I think is why I enjoy attempting to show relationships so much with the emotion we miss from our barbiedolls.
Still, they are just barbiedolls, and there's no doubt for me about the importance of connecting beyond the mind too.
