I'm so lucky sometimes.

I really do believe I have met some of the best people to have come into my life through SL. Strong, vibrant people, who have been terrifically broken, but who turn those breaks into something positive and who are capable of not only showing extreme realness, but who have enough energy to smother me in love and kindness whenever I feel low, too.

I could write their names here, but the chances are, you won't know them - and I'm not sure I want you to either. They're MY friends. MY people. MY circle, and I'm possessive. :P

I was chatting to one lovely lady today, and she tried desperately to tell me she was broken. My response was something along the lines of "Broken? You're the strongest person I know."

And it was then I realized that I feel broken, too. I'm pretty sure most of us feel that way at some point in our lives. I then remembered the story of Japanese Pottery. Bit out there, I know..

"In japan broken objects are often repaired with Gold. The flaw is seen as a unique piece of the object's history, which adds to its beauty."

Wouldn't it be lovely if we looked at people and saw the beauty of them, through their flaws? How strong and golden their very existence is?

I'm all filled with hearts and flowers today, and I hope you can take a moment to notice how lucky you are too, because there really is always something to be thankful for, no matter how small.

I'm featuring some of my very favourite sponsors here today, the first being Moss&Mink, and although I'm aware that you can't see much of the detail involved in this Epiphany set on this post - I have all the plans to show off more of this freakin' beautiful set in future pictures.

I was lucky enough to be involved with Cielo's creative process on this set, I listened as she came up with idea's on the fly and am secretly jealous of her amazingly imaginative brain. She's a creator who will actively listen to her customer base, she'll interact and ask for opinions and will try her hardest to apply many of the suggestions she receives in updates and upcoming releases. I cannot sing her praises enough - and yes, I'm biased, because she is one of my best friends.

Dappa! I legit dragged my alt, Paloma, back into this picture specifically to show off two Dappa tattoos and this is down to the fact that the speed at which they are being produced - seriously, he's KILLING it! Not only are Dappa becoming far more prolific in terms of events, but the quality he is producing is actually improving, every time. 

Of course, the pose is from Reve Obscura. I sincerely believe that he is one of the very best bento pose makers in SL. I rarely need to adjust anything to 'fit' (I did unlink the poses here and give them a wiggle, but I think that's down to the fact that both Paloma and Pickle are thicker avatars.) For many poses, I will use animare to yank out a hand from my stomach/leg/other random body part. I can't imagine how hard it is to develop these poses for every body-type, but R.O has always come through for me!

So today has kinda been one of those days. I woke up late, which was actually nice, because who doesn't like a lie-in, but after that I feel like it's been a bit of an annoying trial by fire day. Not that anything major has happened, it hasn't. I'm just frustrated by little things and then I get more frustrated because the little things are making me want to throw objects at people.

I'm sure you get where i'm coming from! 

We all have days where things just don't go the way we want them to, or we end up rushing around trying to complete things. I am quickly learning that there is an art to this - and it's making it very necessary for me to say NO more often. Part of me hates saying no to other people - but it's far more important for me right now (as a very selfish Pickle) to say no to others in order to have the energy to say yes to myself.

Please welcome Kat to Kaleidoscope today! I've known her for a little while, and she's managed to cling on all the while I was ill and weird af, and now, finally, we have a cute picture of us! Yaay!

We're kind of similar in the way that we don't mind changing our avatars up. Today you'll see we're both wearing the flat-chest v-tech mod. I've featured this a couple of times, but it really is wonderful in my opinion, and now that CandyDoll has begun rigging for the chest, along with the little boobies for the slink body, I figured it was only right to feature the boi's again!

I might even give the petite tata's a shot at some point, because; challenges!

Most of you will know I'm an avid overthinker. I'm never sure if I'm TOO effeminate with the femboy chest, but I figure there are many many different styles, and so for this particular postie, I went with girly boy, rather than boyish boy. Maybe i'll perfect the boyish boy too!

Please allow me a moment of insanity while I squee incredibly excitedly over this skin by Go&See!

Although I'm wearing it on the Genus (beta) head, there is also a Catwa and Omega applier supplied for the head texture (so you can literally try it with nearly every head on the SL Market), and the body texture is an Omega applier, too! As always I suggest trying a demo before purchasing, as shading positions can vary from head to head.

When paired with these gorgeous eyes from Lotus, I really feel like my Genus head has come to life - which is quite difficult considering the Beta limitations as they are right now. I am so excited for the full release of this head, I can't wait to see what is going to become of this brand!
