I feel like this picture is a whole entire hashtag for my life. I'm literally exhausted from the moment I wake up, to the moment I go to sleep - and I barely do anything. I can't actually remember what it's like to get off my chair without groaning and today I left a mini tin of vaseline heating up to soften under my boob (shuttup don't act like you don't do that if you have bigger tiddies) for three whole hours because I legit forgot it was there.
I have so many THINGS to show you! I'm actually not even going to attempt to waffle today, instead I'm going to show you the things, ok? Ok!
So Moss&Mink came out with a couple of fabulous additions recently... the first is "La Piche Moussue" in collaboration with the Peaches hot chocolate set that I showed you somewhere.. maybe >Here< ? Anywho, the store is bloody gorgeous. So gorgeous that I'm keeping it full time on my homestead. Twice. Not only does it include the building which I've kinda shown in the first picture (you can unlink & remove the snowy top, so the store can be used throughout the seasons), but it also comes with matching inside pieces to mix & match too. There are three versions of the store, a white with red trim 'Nordic' version that is perfect for the Holiday season, the 'Worn' Blue shown, and a white and gold trim 'Clean' option... along with a selection of different coloured matching counters and displays.
There's also the super cute Sleigh, which has an unlinkable snow prim not shown. It has tons of animations in for both singles and couples, and I can see this being a welcome addition to any home or garden during the winter months.
In other stores, Miss Chelsea has provided this snug cardigan and tee combination in two colours (Sold separately) for 50L friday. Yah, it's Saturday, but I checked a couple of hours ago and it was still available for the special 50L price! I really love the detailing of Miss Chelsea's items, and this cardigan has such cute elbows I almost squealed!
The Native Urban Sneakers can be found at Uber, and have an insane colour hud! Well worth the price point, and definitely one to put in your shopping cart!

I know, I know, I've already posted today! I just couldn't resist showing off these amazing finds for 50L friday from Miss Chelsea and Veechi, plus the super cute thigh high sneakers from Empire at this round of Uber.
The Dox sim has recently re-opened it's doors and it's an absolutely adorable Tokyo styled set up, with many nooks and crannies to explore, plus plenty of photo opportunities for the creatively inspired. Being that I'm just a semi-creative Pickle, I opted for the zebra crossing (not sure what they're called anywhere other than the UK) and the backdrop of the street almost as soon as you enter the sim!

Yesterday was a particularly difficult day for me, as I sort-of expressed in my post.
However, thanks to the help some amazing friends - Adam, Punky & Jake - I have thoroughly recovered, and although I didn't necessarily wake up and put into practice all the things I said I was going to do today... I do feel like tomorrow I WILL, and that's something wonderful.
I often forget that Fifty Linden Fridays is a thing, and then I kick myself, because there are legitimately so many amazing stores offering up products -exclusive or otherwise- for just 50L.

This week, Miss Chelsea have put out the skirt shown above in TWO colours for just 50L. There's this "Nude" version, and a baby-pink/blush colour too.

I wanted to show off both the tattoo by Dappa which is currently at the Neo Japan event, and the shoes from Empire which are special for 50L Friday.
I knew it had to be an asian theme, but being the ignorant ass I am, I'm not actually sure if I've gotten the right mix of asian here, so there's probably a bit of japanese and chinese influence.. I know the backdrop is Tokyo, and the kitty cats on the kimono I believe are more Chinese. I may be wrong, feel free to correct all the things.
Anywho, this is what I came up with and I LOVE it!
Some of the items listed may not be available anymore. The Kimono for example is an old item from Luxe Box, and they're no longer being sold, although there may be alternative colours in store. However, I truly believe that part of being a blogger isn't necessarily to allow people to copy you 100% (Nothing wrong with that if you do!), but to provide just enough inspiration to allow you, dear reader, to go off and do something similar... and heaven knows there are plenty of kimono's available, especially at the Kurenai & Neo Japan events listed, so go... wander off into the vortex of the land of shopping, and spread those Lindens far and wide to find your perfect asian mix!

"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything."
I've tried to research where the saying originated from, but the closest I get is that a bunch of people have said it throughout the years, and it's now attributed as a modern proverb.
The reason I start with this is because I was thinking about faith, thanks to the Anxiety Prayer background from The Epiphany.
I'm not big on 'An Almighty God' or one being who will judge us all at the end of our existence, but I do believe in humanity, morals and judging yourself before others.
I do have friends and family who have a big belief in what I think is a 'Christian' God. Sometimes, I wish I could have an unerring definitive faith in something as big as a being who is ultimately controlling everything for us, teaching us, guiding us and helping us to learn from our mistakes, but there's an absolute feeling of helplessness and almost despair when I consider this, mostly because if it's the case that we've been shoved here for the entertainment of something else, why aren't we receiving more guidance?
I don't know all the answers, and I don't pretend to.
I've also been sporadically watching Morgan Freeman on Netflix do his series about God & Faith. It's incredibly interesting to me that so many religions and faiths are interlinked in their beliefs, and lets face it, it's pretty easy to zone out to Mr Freeman's voice because he could probably make the phone-book sound like a fun time.
Ultimately, I'm not adverse to changing my mind on God, but I'm willing to live my life the best I can for me, and those around me. Not because of the fear that I may not get into Heaven one day.
Hopefully, this post hasn't come across as offensive, I know faith is a very, very personal thing, and it's not my intent to stir up any ill feeling - just to create dialog/a new wave of thought as you peruse the pretties.

Shawl & Butterflies : + Summer Night Drape + {aii}
I thought it'd be nice to have a look at the Aii Butterfly Shawl. It's only 99L and it's so stinkin' cute - it attaches (bento style) to your 'wings' and the movement is fluid & adorable. There are also some add-on sparkles to make it even more sweet!
I was going to go all out bunny myself, but honestly - the cute lil Jian Bunnies seemed to be enough in this instance! I might be a little late posting the LootBox items, but they're so sweet, I just couldn't resist.
I've tried to edit myself in Photoshop a little more than usual today, while still keeping to the 'truth' of the items i'm portraying. I'm not entirely sure how to apply the same principles to my background-y items, and still favor the 'depth' look over the overly edited look, but I'm hoping you will notice that I'm constantly working to improve picture quality.
I feel like I'll never be done trying to edit things, or even making an attempt to get better angles for the products I'm trying to showcase. I've actually had a drawing tablet for about 4 years, but sadly, I never got the hang of it and much prefer using a mouse at the moment. Maybe one day I'll just pick it up and it'll suddenly make sense, then I'll be doing all the hair and fancy schmancy stuffs!
I have been working on a couple of new things for this bloggie. I know there's some updating needed and have plans to attack my locations page pretty soon. There are so many amazing resources for photography now too, that maybe I'll get around to adding a new page with all the things I've used to get to where I am now (I know, I've still got a long way to go!).
