Simply adore you.

Pose : FOXCITY. Mannequin-2

Location : Yorkshire

I have to be honest, wandering around scantily clad in a whimsical field with flowers in my hair isn't high up on my to-do list in real life, but isn't that what SL is about?

Santi actually sauntered into my shot awkwardly, and wasn't necessarily looking to be a part of this photo, but I can't help feeling like this depicts our walk together.

I've maybe described this before and some of you who regularly read will be well aware of my dangerous forays into the world of adult relationships, but the way things are with Santi are different to anything I've experienced before. He kind of plodded into my life, and just stayed at my wing until I'd noticed him for who he is. There was no forceful pressure, no "notice me" moves, just a steadfast desire to be in my life as a friend, without the pressure or head-games many people enjoy playing.

This is why I love this photo. It sort of represents our relationship and how important it is for me to know where I stand, with him. I know he's there, always. I know that despite how long it might take me to stop being a whiny brat, or what I have to do one day that might take my time away from him, he's going to remain a constant.

My only hope is that I don't take him for granted, ever. That I manage to repay him with kindness and love the way that he deserves.

xoxo

I had an entirely different angle for this picture envisioned in my head, but seriously, who can resist a lil bit of ass?

Santi is my man-dolly for today, and I won't be listing his items because of a complete lack of spoons. I do know you can find his boots at the current (March) round of FaMESHed, and most of the other items have been listed on his blog "This Guy's Eye". We used a motorbike from the clearance section of [Sau] too, and I thoroughly recommend visiting to demo their bikes, because they're stunning quality and have tons of options.

This is the first post I've done with Backdrop City involved.

I try to steer clear of brands and places that have any sort of controversy associated with them, but for the sake of this post I had to make an exception. I sincerely do not understand why there is or was an issue with the Backdrop City sim, All I can see is that someone has taken it upon themselves and filled a niche for photographers and bloggers. I think this is a wonderful advertisement for the creators involved in making backdrops, and it's definitely somewhere I will visit more often when I have limited funds and a specific idea. Being a blogger or photographer even with a massive sponsor list can still become an expensive hobby, so to anyone willing to help out with creating special moments with SL pictures, I have to throw my hands up and cheer for bringing the community together in such a thoughtful and creative way.

Today I'm going to show a few hunt gifts and freebies.

I may have been a little slow when it comes to taking part in the hunts, so if they no longer exist I apologize, it just seems like their aren't enough hours in the day sometimes. Perhaps that's what Pickle & Paloma are making a potion for above?

Most Monday's I will do a Man-Pickle post, I have no excuse today, other than I seem to get wrapped up in Halloween far too late, and then have all these ideas buzzing around, so I'm sorry if a Man-Pickle post was expected! He'll be back next week though!

I think it's absolutely amazing that some of our talented SL creators are still willing to give out hunt gifts/group gifts and freebies. When I first started SL I would spend hours trailing the grid for some quality freebies, and with the introduction of the MadPea hunts & puzzles, Secondlife is becoming a far more immersive place to spend time as the users create these experiences for us. If you like MadPea, you could also check out the Bubble Productions Ride of Doom which is a bit similar, but more 'family friendly', so you can take your littles & teens along without worrying about scaring them silly. It's possible to do the ride within 1-2 hours, including the quest afterwards and it's all been lovingly created by family friendly creators, too!

I'm sure there are many, many more rides and haunted houses, and interactive areas available, but these two are definitely my favourites this year. Feel free to comment below with yours! <3

Excuse the quality, but until I can stahp the lazy, gyazo is the best I can do in terms of showing movement (no idea why I didn't think of this before). I wanted to show the [CREATiCA] Galaxy Flux light-trails, in case anyone was wondering what the odd star-shaped markings were on my hands in the pictures. So.. there you go, in motion.

The dance & animation is a "grouper" by *LG* Groupers to Sia's Cheap Thrills. There's other dances and tunes available, so they're well worth checking out if you like to have a wiggle with friends/family!
